The Gyrojet Rocket Pistol was a fascinating design that never quite caught on. Developed by MBAssociates as part of a family of weapons that fired miniature rockets instead of conventional ammunition, it was their flagship product.

Gyrojets were evaluated by the Central Intelligence Agency and the US Army, and at least one of them was carried during the Vietnam War by a MACV-SOG warrior named Lieutenant George K. Sisler, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions on January 5th, 1970.

Besides action in Vietnam, the Gyrojet was also seen on the silver screen in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice, as well as the 1966 spy thriller Murderer's Row.

Now available are the three illustration sheets accompanying the original patent application for the Gyrojet pistol, described here as a "Pistol for Firing a Miniature Ballistic Rocket". The patent application was submitted in June 1966, and awarded in November 1968.

These posters are 11" by 17" and printed on heavy 65-lb paper for a memorable texture and durability.  All printed posters are sourced from a small, local family-owned business. Each poster is shipped in a 12" x 3" cardboard shipping tube.
